The Problem
Caleb was aged 7 and desperately wanted a wooden tree hut. It had to have a lookout deck with a slide down to the ground, and windows. Stable doors were also a must. It had to be away from the boundary fence and still allow enough room on the other side for the driveway.
The Solution
After lengthy discussions a plan was hatched and the sketch was approved by Caleb. There wasn’t a suitable tree for the hut to be actually situated in but a site was found right next to some trees. Size was 2.1m x 1.8m mono sloping roof, and a slide that adults were also able to use – should they be inclined.
