Padel ball is one of the fastest-growing sports and has become increasingly popular on Auckland’s North Shore. When one of the local padel clubs needed a practical space to store equipment, process equipment hire and manage customer payments, one of the club’s Directors approached EcoSheds with an idea for a custom kiosk.
The Challenge
The club had already put considerable thought into what they needed, which made it easy for the EcoSheds team to understand their requirements and turn their vision into a practical plan.
The kiosk needed to provide a compact, functional space that could support the day-to-day operation of the club while fitting naturally into its surroundings.
The Solution
The EcoShed was built at our factory and then transported to its new home by Hiab. Once in place, the finishing touches were added to make the kiosk work perfectly for the club’s needs.
Two additional benches were included — one designed as a customer service counter and another providing a convenient spot for customers to place sunglasses and other small personal items.
The Finishing Touches
The club chose to keep the natural timber finish, creating a simple and attractive look that blends beautifully with the surrounding environment.
The natural timber also complements the outdoor setting, helping the kiosk feel like a natural part of the club rather than an add-on.
The Result :
This project is a great example of how an EcoShed can be customised to suit a specific purpose. By combining practical design with thoughtful details, the result is a professional, functional space that works seamlessly within its surroundings — and is perfectly suited to the needs of a busy padel club.
